Update on the situation regarding pre cut romaine lettuce from Yuma Arizona

Dear customer,

The Center for control and prevention of diseases in the United States (CDC) issued a memo on April 13 about an investigation of outbreak E. coli. The outbreak has hit several states in USA. According to the most recent informations we have received, the source of the outbreak is suspected to be connected to pre cut romaine lettuce from Yuma, Arizona region.

Presently, only Freshway Food has been connected to these incidents and their products have been recalled. The investigation remains ongoing and we will keep you informed of developments. At this time, this does not apply to whole heads, hearts romaine lettuce. Also, Taylor Farm products or S Express, local manufacturer of St Remi, Quebec are not connected to this recall.

Dear customer,

The Center for control and Prevention of Diseases in the United States (CDC) issued a memo on April 13th about an investigation regarding an outbreak of E. coli. The outbreak has hit several states in the USA. According to information we have received, the source of the outbreak would be connected to pre cut romaine lettuce from Yuma, Arizona.

Presently, no producer or manufacturer has been connected to these incidents and no product recall has been issued. The investigation remains underway, however, the CDC issued a memo not to consume any pre cut romaine from that region in Arizona.

Furthermore to this review, Hector Larivee has stopped selling this product cut and packaged in Yuma, Arizona. At this time, this is not applied to whole heads, hearts romaine lettuce or pre cut romaine from S Express, local manufacturer of St Remi, Quebec.
